Today I would like to share the grace of God under the title, "The Principle of Visualization."
As we live our lives, the principle of visualization is very important. In the Bible, there are many stories that show people who lived successful lives through the principle of visualization. The main example of them is Abraham who looked at the stars in the sky.
Since he was 75 years old, Abraham kept asking God to give him a son who would inherit his possessions. However, there was no answer from God for a long time. He did not know how to pray properly before God so he could not complain Him. One day God took Abraham outside at night and said, "Look at the blue sky. What do you see?" "Oh, God. There are clouds and countless stars at the night sky." "Okay. You are right. How many stars are there?" He could not tell it. "Father God, I can't count them at all. They are countless." Maybe God laughed like this. "That's right. Look up at the heavens and count the stars--if indeed you can count them. So shall your offspring be." At this Abraham was greatly impressed. He rubbed his eyes and looked up to the stars and he felt as if all of them were calling him, "Father Abraham!" He was overwhelmed. Then Genesis 15:2 says, "But Abram said, 'O Sovereign LORD, what can you give me since I remain childless and the one who will inherit my estate is Eliezer of Damascus?'" Even though Abraham sighed, God immediately answered him with this solution. God promised him that He would give him a son.

Genesis 15:4-5 says, "Then the word of the LORD came to him: 'This man will not be your heir, but a son coming from your own body will be your heir.' He took him outside and said, 'Look up at the heavens and count the stars--if indeed you can count them.' Then he said to him, 'So shall your offspring be.'"

Why didn't he receive an answer from God until then? It is because Abraham didn't know how to pray. He could not understand God's audiovisual education. When teachers teach their students at school, they use many pictures let alone verbal teachings. When audiovisual materials are well used, students' memory will be improved more than 40%. If teachers let students see pictures or statistic numbers, their memory remains 40% in their heads. Therefore, in various areas, audiovisual teachings are applied. Amazingly, God has also applied this through the principle of visualization. It was God who taught Abraham the principle of visualization. When He promised Abraham that He would give him the land, He gave it through audiovisual teaching while using the principle of visualization.

Genesis 13:4-5 says, "The LORD said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, 'Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.'"

This is the principle of visualization. If we look at God's promise, we can't help but pray. When God promised Abraham a son, He said, "Look up at the heavens and count the stars. So shall your offspring be."

Genesis 15:4-5 says, "He took him outside and said, 'Look up at the heavens and count the stars--if indeed you can count them.' Then he said to him, 'So shall your offspring be.'"

God taught Abraham the principle of visualization so he cherished it in his bosom while looking at the promised land and a son and pray. When we pray before God, we plant seed in the field of our hearts. Your hearts are fields. God sows the seed of His promise in your field and lets you pray and await. If you do not sow any seed in your hearts and just pray, it will make you weary. When we first sow the seed and look at it grow and pray accordingly, God's authority will manifest. God made Abraham go to the promised land and cherish his future offspring in his bosom through the principle of visualization and pray accordingly. There is nothing impossible for God to work, Abraham looked up to the countless stars in the sky and prayed earnestly and ended up with God's answer.

Romans 4:18-21 says, "Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, 'So shall your offspring be.' Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead--since he was about a hundred years old--and that Sarah's womb was also dead.
Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised."

It is the same with the problems of Jacob. He stole his elder brother's birthright and escaped to his uncle's home. He married there and also got many children, but he had to suffer numerous hardships there. He had to work hard for fourteen years for his two wives and his uncle changed his wages ten times for twenty years.
However, God helped Jacob. He taught Jacob how to pray for his dream to come pass. God taught the law of visualization not only to Abraham but also to Jacob.

In Genesis Chapter 31, Jacob confessed that he could get so many sheep and goats because God told him in his dream about it.

Genesis 31:10-12 says, "In breeding season I once had a dream in which I looked up and saw that the male goats mating with the flock were streaked, speckled or spotted. The angel of God said to me in the dream, 'Jacob.' I answered, 'Here I am.' And he said, 'Look up and see that all the male goats mating with the flock are streaked, speckled or spotted, for I have seen all that Laban has been doing to you."

God said that all the male goats mating with the flock would be streaked, speckled or spotted. As Jacob prayed to God, saying, "Every strong and healthy sheep and goat should be born streaked, speckled or spotted," he looked up to those streaked, speckled or spotted images of sheep and goats in his heart and mind. Then all those healthy and strong sheep and goats were born streaked, speckled or spotted. Why don't you do it yourself? You will also experience the same consequences. The principle of visualization has the mighty power and work. You must sow the seed of dream. No matter how hard and painful life may be, we must plant the seed of dream and hope first. Even though seed itself is so small and tiny, it has an amazing power in it. Seed will penetrate into its hard husk and soil hundreds times its own body weight to bud and blossom and bear fruit. Likewise, a seed of dream also has enormous power in it. When we plant the seed of dream, it will blossom and bear fruit. How can our dream bear fruit? When we think of dream, believe that it will come to pass, speak of it again and again and feel proud of it, our dream will grow and bear fruit in the end.

We can control our life through the law of visualization. Nowadays, what should we look up to? We must look at the cross of Jesus.
Through the cross, Abraham was blessed.

Galatians 3:13-14 says, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: 'Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.' He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit."

Therefore, to have a dream is very important. When I lectured to the students in the Seminary, I always emphasized that they should give hope to their own congregation. We are unable to give money, but there is still one thing that we can give. Even this year we don't have enough to give to others, but we still have hope to give. It is far much better than money. When people hold out their hands to us, we can give them the message of hope and pray for it. We encourage them to pray for it over and over again. Then the hope will come back as hopeful material.

You should not live through the third dimensional world but live a life that the fourth dimension will surround the third dimension to fulfill your dream. What you dream in the third dimension will come true in the fourth dimension. We can't give money but there is still something we can give. It is the cross of Jesus. Jesus suffered on the cross due to our sins and took away our curses. By His stripes our diseases are healed. Therefore, the only hope of this world is on the cross. We must believe and pray that the Fivefold Gospel and the Threefold Blessing are fulfilled on the cross through the spirituality of the fourth dimension. Christians are able to look up to the cross and speak and sing hope all the time. When we look up to the cross of Calvary, we can dream about the Fivefold Gospel and the Threefold Blessing God has prepared for us. By look up to the cross, we can control our circumstances.

1 Corinthians 1:18 says, "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God."

When the devil works, we can't help but look at those wrong things all the time. We have to focus on the present negative things and also be full of anxiety and fear toward future. "I can't make it. It is impossible. I will fail." If we focus on these things, we are deceived into the lies of the devil. Today many people worry about what they will eat or wear, and what will happen tomorrow and can't live today happily. However, Jesus said in Luke 12:29-30, "And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it.
For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them."

We must look to the hopeful future that we prosper spiritually, materially, and physically and have a life to the full. It is because what we look up to in our hearts is the bridge of our circumstances.
We can move forward with dream and hope. It is very important to step forward toward the destination of dream with faith. Then one's dream will lead him step by step. We must first cherish dream in our hearts and then have hope so we can have a better dream and hope and speak about it. When you plant dream in your heart and have hope, there will a trial of faith. With what did Jesus create the whole world? He did it with His word. The whole universe was created with the word of God so you can create your life through the word of God. When we face a crisis of life, what we look at really matters. The Psalmist says, "I lift up my eyes to the hills-- where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth."(Psalm 121:1-2)

Whether we should look at our problem or lift up our eyes to God?
In any circumstances, we must look up to God and expect Him and confess Him with faith. When we look up to God, we can be more than conquerors. When Jacob returned to his home, he faced one of the hardest crises in his life. His brother Esau was coming to meet him, and four hundred men were with him. However, Jacob didn't give up in the desperate situation. He wrestled with the angel of God at the ford of the Jabbok and he received his new name as Israel and reconciled to his brother. Those who look to dream in life will never be in despair but become more than conquerors in any difficulties with prayer.
