Today I would like to share the grace of God under the title, ¡°Jesus, the Life Expert.¡±
A woman in our church came to me with her testimony. She once had a facial paralysis. Her face was terribly distorted. So she prayed hard and fasted and received many prayers from me, but she didn¡¯t get better. So she prayed, ¡°Father God, I can¡¯t live on with this ugly face among people. Please take me away.¡±
Then God said to her in a quiet whisper, ¡°If you forgive those whom you hate and rather love them, my power will come upon you. However, if you curse and have a grudge against them, you won¡¯t be healed.¡± As she heard God¡¯s voice, she said to Him that she forgave them and prayed that God would bless them instead. Afterwards she look at her face in the mirror and found someone quite new! She was so startled that she looked at herself once again and found that her once distorted face turned into a bright, clear, and gleaming beauty!
She began shouting for joy. She directly came to me and said, ¡°Pastor, look at my face. My face is changed into a new one.¡± God healed her. When she cast away her hate from her heart, God¡¯s healing came to her. Hate is a mental illness. We must heal that sickness. Jesus is a life expert so when we come before Him, we can be healed.

You know, our outer person and inner person are united into one to be ourselves. Now please put your hand on your heart. It is you! However, your outer person and inner person are united into yourself! Your invisible inner person and visible outer person become you. Your heart and body are one but the priority belongs to your heart and then your body. There is an order in your heart and body. Your heart is first and then your body follows. Your heart: namely your thoughts and dreams are first along with faith; and then your body which includes your senses, feelings and the material follow.

Proverbs 4:23 says, ¡°Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.¡±

A young and vigorous life come from the heart and an old and weary and tired life also come from the heart. Therefore, we should guard our hearts well.

Philippians 4:6-7 says, ¡°Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.¡±

It is because God answers us according to our hearts and minds. Jesus was crucified on the cross and suffered to make us young and alive. Jesus was pierced and crushed and afflicted so when we accept His suffering in our hearts, our body becomes young and vigorous. Jesus carried our sins and suffered to heal our body and hearts. Jesus was crucified and shed His blood and died on the cross; first, His heart was crucified and then His body was crucified.

¡°But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.¡±(Isaiah 53:5)

When we accept this in our hearts, our body will follow us.

Isaiah 53:4 says, ¡°Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.¡±

¡°He was pierced for our transgressions.¡± We have many transgressions, but Jesus was pierced in our stead to settle them all. When we accept Jesus¡¯ settlement, our body can win over those transgressions.
¡°He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.¡± Jesus suffered for all of us. Through His crucifixion if we accept His suffering in our hearts, our body can be exempt from suffering. Therefore, we must always rely on the cross of Jesus.

John 19:30 says, ¡°When he had received the drink, Jesus said, ¡®It is finished.¡¯ With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.¡±


As Jesus settled all our sins and diseases, curses and despair, and death, when we believe them settled in our hearts, our body will follow. Apostle Paul never thought negatively neither was he in despair even though he was in the hardest and most difficult situations. When he was imprisoned due to preaching the gospel, he cofessed as follows, ¡°I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength.¡±(Philippians 4:12-13)

Apostle Paul confessed this even in the midst of tough and hard circumstances because he looked to the cross of Jesus in his heart all the time. As He took hold of Jesus¡¯ death as his death, Jesus¡¯ thoughts as his thoughts, his body could maintain youth and strength and remain well-built. When we believe in Jesus, it means that we are united with Jesus as one. Jesus¡¯ death is our death, Jesus¡¯ resurrection is our resurrection, Jesus¡¯ communion is our communion, and Jesus¡¯ heaven is our heaven. We are united with Jesus as a whole. When we become one with Jesus in our hearts, our body will follow it.

Our change in the heart will bring the same change in our body. When our hearts change, our life will also be changed. In order for our hearts to be changed, we must fill our hearts with the Fivefold Gospel of the cross of Jesus. Jesus was crucified on the cross for our sins, our filth, our diseases, and our death. As Jesus was crucified on the cross, we have become righteous, holy, healed from diseases, received the blessing of Abraham and will be resurrected and go to heaven. These thoughts will change our whole body and our whole life. We must realize this truth. First of all, we must transform our thoughts. Before we change our lives at home or the circumstances of our body, we¡¯d better change our thoughts.

John Maxwell who wrote, ¡°Thinking for a Change,¡± said in his book, ¡°The reason why people couldn¡¯t fulfill their dream is that they just wanted to change their result rather than their thoughts.¡± If we hope that something should be changed in our home or our lives, our thoughts should be changed first. If we want something good to happen in life, we must think first that something good is going to happen! Changing our thoughts must precede changing our circumstances. Then how can we change our thoughts? Above all, we must read the Bible very much. When we read the Bible, our thoughts must be changed. And ¡°The Fourth Dimension of Spirituality¡± which I wrote will be very helpful to you. We must keep in mind that the transformation of our thoughts will lead to changes in life.
Therefore, now our hearts and body become one, but in order for what is in our hearts to change our body, we must do what we want in our thoughts according to Philippians 2:13, which says, ¡°for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.¡± If God fulfills what we think, our body will accomplish according to our thoughts.

Psalm 37:4 says, ¡°Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.¡±

First it will be fulfilled in our thoughts, and then in our body.

Hebrews 11:6 says, ¡°And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.¡±

Faith comes first and then success follows. When we face difficulty in life, we shouldn¡¯t fear or feal disappointed, but trust in God only. When Naaman had leprosy, a young girl from Israel, who was a captive, said to her mistress, "If only my master would see the prophet who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy." Naaman went to his master and told him what the girl from Israel had said. The king of Aram wrote a letter to the king of Israel. As soon as the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his robes and said, "Why does this fellow send someone to me to be cured of his leprosy? See how he is trying to pick a quarrel with me!"
When Elisha the man of God heard that, he sent him this message: "Why have you torn your robes? Have the man come to me and he will know that there is a prophet in Israel." Then Naaman went to the house of Elisha. Elisha sent a messenger to say to him, "Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed." So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy. As Naaman went to Elisha with faith, he was healed from leprosy and there was no war at all. If we fear, there will be a war. We should always move forward with faith. Our senior pastor always emphasizes absolute faith so we must believe to the end! Then our circumstances will be changed accordingly. Those who think negatively in difficulty will be overwhelmed by fear while those who have positive and active faith will experience God¡¯s miracles.

Psalm 103:2-5 says, ¡°Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits- who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.¡±

When we believe in God in a right way, something good will happen to us greatly. When we look into our hearts, those things that happen there will manifest in our circumstances.
If nothing happens in our hearts, there will be nothing in our circumstances. We should be bold because our body follows our souls. There is only one God who gives us blessings. A great theologian William Barclay said, ¡°Only God can make us rich and bless us.¡± Then one of the greatest blessings of God is life.

Psalm 16:11 says, ¡°You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.¡±

No matter how tough and hard our life may be, we can rejoice all the time because we have the life of Jesus. It is because we have the Fivefold Gospel. When we live under the cross of Calvary, all negative things will be settled on the cross and the Holy Spirit will pour out all positive things upon us through the cross. William Barclay also said, ¡°The word, ¡®joy¡¯, is the most frequent word in the New Testament.¡± Christianity is a religion of life and joy.

John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.¡±

Therefore, whosoever believes in Jesus will receive life, and have it to the full, and live in the midst of the overflowing joy He gives.
