Today I would like to share the grace of God under the title, ¡°Ask Whatever You Wish.¡±
Jesus said, ¡°Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.¡± (Matt. 7:7) We can go before God and pray because of our relationship with Him. Because God is our Father and we are His loving children, we can ask for everything that we need. How can we expect a perfect stranger on the street to answer our need? As God is already our Father, He will respond to our asking.

Dr. A. W Tozer said that one of the most common mistakes Christians commit is their negligence of prayer to God because they are so busy working for Him. However, this is because they do not know the power of prayer. They consider it a religious obligation so they do not pray. If they realize that prayer is an amazing privilege given to God¡¯s children, they will pray no matter how busy they are. God will help us when we pray so if we try other things first without praying, it is so foolish.

George Muller, who took care of more than two thousand orphans only through prayer, said, ¡°When we expect a great thing from God, we will experience a great thing.¡± When we pray believing God will perform a great thing for us, we will have a dream in our hearts and our prayer time will become joyful. Jesus promised in Matthew 21:22, ¡°If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." We must hold on to this promise and believe it and pray!

When we face problems we rather look for a better way to solve them. However, God seeks those who pray to Him. If we do not pray, we must work on our own; But when we pray, God works.

Charles H. Spurgeon said, ¡°Prayer is a golden key.¡± We need a key to unlock the front door to get in or to open the safe. Unless we pray, we can¡¯t use the key so we are unable to enjoy what God prepares for us. E. M. Bounds said, ¡°It is our prayer that unlocks the huge storehouse of God. Prayer is the best way to solve our problems. As God has given us a key of prayer, we should use it before Him. Today you have the most necessary key in your life which is with you now. It is because when God has chosen you as His child, He has already given you the most required key of prayer. You will be greatly blessed if you use that key more often than not and enjoy what God prepares for you. You shouldn¡¯t complain all the time without using the key of prayer.

The Bible says, ¡°If you remain in me and my Words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.¡± When we believe in Jesus and obey His Words, we can remain in Him. When we embrace Jesus¡¯ Words in the Bible in our hearts, He will remain in us and we in Him.

John 6:56 says, ¡°Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.¡±

When we eat Jesus¡¯ flesh and drink His blood, we will remain in Him. Likewise, when we listen to Jesus¡¯ words and keep them, we will remain in Him. We can have a deeper relationship with Him. To whosoever enters into Jesus, He gives the forgiveness of sins, holiness, and healing of diseases, fills their lack of material things, allows the Fivefold Gospel which gives life and heaven to those who are dead. Those belong to Jesus so when we enter into Him, we can find the table overflowing with the Fivefold Gospel.

Romans 8:32 says, ¡°He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?¡±

God the Father who gave up our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross as a sacrifice for us all?how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things? Our Father God loves each one of us deeply and wants to give the life of Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 2:9 says, ¡°However, as it is written: ¡®No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him¡¯-- ¡±

God gives us all the grace we need through Jesus Christ. Therefore, when we believe in Jesus and invite His words in our hearts, they will work marvelously.

When the Israelites came out of Egypt with Moses after slavery there for a long time, they crossed the Red Sea and went into the Desert of Shur. For three days they traveled in the desert without finding water. Finally they found the well, but they could not drink its water because it was bitter. Then Moses cried out to the Lord and He the LORD showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. The piece of wood symbolizes the cross of Jesus Christ. When we have problems, God also has the solution to them. When we accept the Words of Jesus, it will come true. It was the same for Moses when he raised up the bronze snake in the desert. When the Israelites spoke against God and against Moses, God was enraged and sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died. They came to Moses and said, "We sinned! Please forgive us our sins.¡±
Moses prayed for the people and the Lord said to him, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live." So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, he lived. Some did not believe it and refused to look at it and they cursed only. However, even those who were dying of the poison of fiery snakes repented of their sins and looked at it and were delivered from the poison and survived. These amazing things all indicate Jesus. When Jesus was on the cross, He was along with two criminals--one on His right, the other on His left, who were bitten by the devil. They were bitten by the devil and committed all kinds of sins and were finally crucified on the cross with Jesus. How could those full of poison be saved? It was impossible, but one of them said to the Lord, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom."
At this word, Jesus forgave him who was full of evil and saved him right away. ¡°Jesus answered him, ¡®I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.¡¯"
This symbolizes the wonderful salvation given by faith in Jesus. Even though we are sinful, unrighteous, filthy, and deserve abandonment from God, when we look up to Jesus on the cross and ask His help, we will become a forgiven righteous person, saved instantly. While we are living in this world, we are confined within this earthly tent. However, when we become too old or involved in an accident so our earthly tent is collapsed, then what can we do? We know that we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Therefore, to die looks so painful, but if we believe in Jesus, as God prepares an eternal house in heaven we won¡¯t be forsaken even if our earthly tent is destroyed. We will enter into our eternal house in heaven.

It is our doubt that disturbs our prayer.

James 1:6-7 says, ¡°But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord.¡±

If we move forward without doubt, we can receive and enjoy the promise of God, but doubt keeps coming up and then what should we do? Doubt means, ¡°Weigh by human reason¡± in Greek. To doubt is to measure by human reason whether or not we can make it or it can be done. We tend to measure by our human reason whether or not it can be done. Then we conclude, ¡°It can¡¯t be done! I can¡¯t make it.¡± This is doubt. We shouldn¡¯t do this. Whenever we look at things, we must see them through the teaching of the Holy Spirit. If we weigh them by our doubt, we will fail. Whosoever calculates and doubts with his/her thinking can¡¯t receive anything from God. When doubt sneaks into our hearts and mind, there is the best way to overcome doubt; We can confess with our mouths and give thanks and praises to God.

Jesus once said, ¡°Ask whatever you wish, and it will be given to you.¡±
¡°If you remain in me and my Words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.¡±(John 15:7)
When Jesus said, ¡°Ask whatever you wish,¡± what we wish means what we dream. When we ask God what we dream, it will be done like John 17:7 which says, ¡°If you remain in me and my Words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.¡± Whatever we wish and dream will come true.

John 16:24 says, ¡°Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.¡±

When we ask the Lord with our desires, it will come true.

James 1:5 says, ¡°If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.¡±

While we believe in Jesus, we should ask Him for all our needs in life. After prayer, if doubt comes to tell us, ¡°It can¡¯t be done,¡± we should not accept it. Rather we must confront with our mouth confession, ¡°As I pray to God, He listens to it and it will come true. Whatever I ask Him will be done. You, Doubt, go away!¡±

When we pray, if we apply the law of visualization, it will greatly help. When we follow the law of visualization, it is very important what we look at. When we confront problems, we¡¯d better look at the cross of Jesus rather than look at our circumstances. When Peter crossed the night sea with his colleagues by boat, Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake! When the disciples saw Him walking on the lake, they were terrified. ¡°It is a ghost,¡± they said.
Jesus said, ¡°Don't be afraid. It¡¯s Me."
"Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water."
"Come," He said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, high waves hit his face so he began to sink. When we pray, we should focus on our goal, not on our circumstances. If we distract from our goal to the wind, high waves, or disturbing sound, doubt attacks us. We must focus on Jesus and God¡¯s promise only. Like athletes train themselves to focus on their goal in the Olympics, we must receive training to focus on the cross of Jesus only. Like athletes in the Olympics focus on the ball they hit, when we pray to the Lord, we should concentrate on the answer to prayer, not on any obstacles. If we look through the law of visualization, God will give us creative power through it. ¡°Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.¡±(Psalm 37:4) When we look at what we wish and embrace the things that are not as though they were in our hearts and pray to God, He will make it happen.

Hebrews 11:6 says, ¡°And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.¡±

Our God rewards those who earnestly seek Him. If we seek God and ask Him, He will reward us. What we dream in our hearts will make our life different. Then one of the best ways to draw dream in our hearts is ¡°record our dream.¡± We must write down our dream on paper. Zig Ziglar, the great expert of self improvement and success, once said, ¡°If you do not write down your goal, you merely have a seed not planted yet.¡±
Those who write down their goal on paper and see it plant their seed! Then their seed will grow! When we pray, we must use the law of visualization. God once took Abraham outside and said, ¡°Look up at the heavens and count the stars." Then He encouraged him, "So shall your offspring be." Likewise, we must use the law of visualization and look at what we wish as we come in and go out, saying, ¡°That is mine!¡± When we look at it, it will happen to us. When God gave the promise of the land to Abraham, He said to him not to pray, ¡°Oh, give me the land,¡± but He said. "Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west and pray, ¡®God, this land I see now will become mine and belong to my descendants¡¯¡±
When we write down our goal, we can have a clear goal. If we pray with a definite dream and desire, God will make us bear abundant fruit.

Because we remain in Jesus, we can go before our God the Father and ask for anything. Jesus is the only Son of God and we are His son when we accept Jesus. Therefore, we should not be discouraged and fall in despair as long as we can pray. If we move forward with faith by having dreams and hopes no matter what kind of situations we face, our Father God takes care of and protects us who are His children. Furthermore, we should share the grace that we received from God through prayer with poor people. This pleases God and reveals the glory of God.
