Today I would like to share the grace of God under the title,
¡°Despair and Hope.¡±In the Bible, there is a story of a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. She was in despair. In Jewish country, the bleeding disease was considered defiled legally. Those who were stricken with this disease couldn¡¯t stay at home. The woman was isolated from society due to her disease and couldn¡¯t live with her loving family, let alone her neighbors and friends. They were forbidden to meet or contact other people so they built a home in an isolated place and had to live there. Not a day or two but twelve years passed so she couldn¡¯t bear loneliness any more. No matter how badly she waited for people to come, nobody appeared. However, she did her best to meet people while visited every medicine and consulted every doctor, but there was no hope at all. Then she didn¡¯t give up on hope despite of twelve years¡¯ disease because of a hopeful news. She heard a rumor that the Son of God, great Healer Jesus came on the earth to heal any disease. This news brought a great hope! Without this good news, there would be no hope at all. However, she heard the news! And she became hopeful at this news.

The name of Jesus Christ is a good news! Who is Jesus? He is a good news itself! It is well revealed in Luke 4:18-19, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."

Jesus called Himself as good news! Since Adam and Eve people could not help but hear sad news. Everywhere they went, they had to hear sad news. Nevertheless, Jesus became good news as God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son. The good news of Jesus is that something good is going to happen to each and everyone of us. The most wanted thing for our churches today is to deliver good news. While people desperately wait for good news, churches give them the law instead of good news. During my ministry, the best thing I did is to give good news all the time. I have preached that Jesus is a good God and that this Jesus delivers us from despair to hope.
Whenever this good news has been preached, people could overcome despair with great joy in their hearts. Jesus was crucified on the cross and buried and resurrected after three days
so now He is still preaching the good news of the Fivefold Gospel and the Threefold Blessing.

Romans 3:23-24 says, ¡°for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.¡±

All people sinned as the descendants of Adam and Eve so they could not come before God but the Bible says about the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Redemption means to buy something by paying the price. The redemption in Jesus, namely, Jesus Himself is the redemption for us. Jesus is God¡¯s redemption that pays our debts. Therefore, God sees us as the price of Jesus so He loves us as much as He loves Jesus.

3 John 1:2 says, ¡°Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.¡±

Jesus paid all the debts of our souls and also paid all that we need in our daily lives and that needs to maintain our health. Jesus Christ paid all that needs for the Fivefold Gospel and the Threefold Blessing. Then this Jesus wants to meet whosoever.
Nowadays we can¡¯t meet any celebrities. If Jesus lived nowadays, how could we meet Him? However, in His earthly stay, Jesus met anyone anytime. Therefore, this woman of twelve years¡¯ bleeding disease could have hope because she could meet Jesus.
Jesus gladly met the lepers, the Gentiles who the Jews despised, and sinners like Zacchaeus, the woman caught in adultery, and robbers.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.¡±(Matthew 11:28)

Jesus said, ¡°Come to me, all you!¡± He invites us without discrimination. Whosoever came to Jesus would meet Him.
David said in Psalm 68:19, ¡°Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Selah¡±

In Hebrew language, to daily bears our burdens¡± means that God carries us on His back. As mothers carry their child on their back, David said that God would carry us on His back. Therefore, now anyone can come to Jesus and lay down his/her heavy burden before Him and take a rest while being carried on His back! When we are carried on His back, Jesus carries us along with our weary burdens together at the same time. It is beyond description that God loves us so much!

There is no discrimination in the good news that Jesus came to save humanity. We must hold this good news in our hearts.

Psalm 103:3-5 says, ¡°who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.¡±

Jesus forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases and redeems our life from the pit and satisfies our desires; if we know how good the Lord is, we can¡¯t help but rejoice!
Where there is no vision the people perish. Those who haven¡¯t heard good news are unhappy and will perish because they have no vision and hope! When we hear good news, we will have good dream in our hearts.

Proverbs 29:18 says, ¡°Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.¡±

Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint; furthermore, there is no good news to the young. However, where there is vision we can move forward with a hopeful dream in our hearts.

Matthew 9:20-21 says, ¡°Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, ¡®If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.¡¯"

She had a definite dream in her heart that if she touched the edge of Jesus¡¯ cloak, the healing in Jesus would overflow into her sick body. If good news is planted in one¡¯s heart, dream and hope cannot but grow in his/her heart. In our hearts, there are dream, hope and every good thing.

Philippians 2:13 says, ¡°for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.¡±

God first puts desire in our hearts to work for His will. Desire means our dream. Those who have no desire are without any dream while those who have dream have strong desire in their hearts.

Anyone who sets his goal in life and figures out the method to fulfill it and pray for it, God will open a way to succeed. However, when we start this, we must have faith even like a mustard seed. When we have dream and pray with it, faith will come to us.

Matthew 17:20 says, ¡°He replied, ¡®Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ¡±Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."¡¯¡±

When we have vision and positive thinking and set a goal and pray for it, we will have dream such as, ¡°I can make it. It will be done. Let us do it now.¡± This woman of twelve years¡¯ bleeding disease stood behind many people and touched Jesus¡¯ cloak. A person with dreams does not give up no matter what kind of obstacles he faces. Countless people surrounded Jesus Christ, but this woman stepped forward and touched His cloak. Then Jesus stopped and turned around and said, ¡°"Who touched my clothes?" Then Peter said "You see the people crowding against you, and yet you can ask, 'Who touched me?' " But Jesus kept looking around to see who had done it. The woman couldn¡¯t hide it anymore. She couldn¡¯t deny that the healing power of Jesus entered into her sick body. So she came forward and told Jesus, ¡°Your healing power came into my body.¡± Jesus looked at her and said, ¡°Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.¡±

Faith is a qualification to receive anything from God. To have dream means to have a vessel. When we pray with a vessel called dream, we will have qualification of faith. Those who have faith won¡¯t give up no matter what kind of obstacles they face, but go through them to catch what they want. The bleeding woman did the same thing after she heard the news of Jesus and passed through the big crowd until she finally caught the edge of Jesus¡¯ clothes. Jesus said to her, ¡°Daughter, your faith has healed you.¡± Therefore, she was healed because she went to Jesus with faith! At that time so many people gathered around Jesus and they all touched Him, but it was only one woman who experienced miracle of God. She could have been healed even if she had not touched Jesus¡¯ clothes, but it was only her who believed! Therefore, to receive an answer to our prayer, we must pray with faith. Our faith is the power to connect us to God¡¯s grace in the fourth dimension. Jesus said, ¡°Jesus replied, ¡®I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.¡¯"(Matthew 21:21-22)

When God explains faith, He always says with strong conviction.
When we accept the word of Jesus who says, ¡°Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ,¡± we really believe in His word. When the Holy Spirit works the word with Jesus, it will strengthen us greatly.

God says that it is our faith that changes us from despair to hope. ¡°Your faith has saved you.¡± We do not beg from others but our faith has saved us.

Hebrews 11:6 says, ¡°And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.¡±

We must believe!

James 5:15 says, ¡°And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.¡±

To be healed from diseas also requires our faith; our faith heals our disease.

Hebrews 10:38-39 says, ¡°¡®But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him.¡¯
But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved.¡±

We must not give up but keep praying. Therefore, we should have always a bright heart. We must be clean and bright. We must not say in our hearts, ¡°I can¡¯t make it. It is impossible. I am in despair.¡± When we look at our reality with dream, God will show us dream. When we pray with this dream, miracles will happen through our faith. When we move forward with dream and faith, a bright and clear and brilliant future comes to us. And God will make us live a life where we may enjoy good health and that all may go well with us, even as our souls are getting along well and we have life to the full. As long as we believe in Jesus and pray to God, we should not be discouraged. It is because God is with us.
