Today I would like to share the grace of God under the title, ¡°Holistic Salvation.¡±
We live with the Lord and always read His Word and listen to it and meditate on it and love it so we can overcome any sins, evil deeds, diseases, evil circumstances and forces around us. God wants, above all, 3 John 2 in our lives.
¡°Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.¡±

Jesus once told the parable of the rich fool. "The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. Then he said, ¡®This is what I'll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.¡¯
And I'll say to myself, ¡®You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.¡¯¡±(Luke 12:19) "But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?'¡±(Luke 12:20)

We usually think that we can handle our destiny, but it isn¡¯t true. If God takes away our soul, it will be to no avail no matter how much treasure we may gather. Nowadays many people live like this rich fool. They only focus on gathering more wealth and living well, but never get interested in their precious soul.
When God first created humans, He commanded them, ¡°Your soul must first prosper.¡± Soul indicates our deepest self within us. There are physical self and soul self, but the most profound spiritual self is our true self.

Genesis 2:7 says, ¡°the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.¡±

Our physical self is not our true being, but our soul, into which God breathed the breath of life, is our true being. When our soul becomes insecure by sins and the oppression of the devil and the worldly sufferings and it can¡¯t prosper under the devil¡¯s ruling, ¡°Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.¡± Our profound heart should be restored first so we can live as a true self. Therefore,

Proverbs 4:23 says, ¡°Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.¡±

How can our soul prosper? When we rely on the blood of Jesus, our life and inner being can be restored by His blood. Jesus¡¯ blood forgives us our sins and the Holy Spirit enters into us to restore us and then our soul will prosper.


Ephesians 1:7 says, ¡°In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.¡±

Since we have been connected with sin from our mother¡¯s womb, we are born with a dead soul. In order for us to live in this world, we must receive God¡¯s grace given through Jesus. We must accept His grace, that forgives us our sins and restores our soul, without charge. Originally, the Garden of Eden where God allowed humans to live did not lack anything at all. Then due to Adam¡¯s sin the land was cursed and it would produce thorns and thistles for humans. By the sweat of their brow they would eat their food until they return to the ground. To be cursed means to suffer from thorns and thistles in life. This suffering from sins was overcome by Jesus¡¯ grace and His blood. We must embrace the cross of Jesus to prosper in our soul. By the blood on the cross, our sins are washed away and we become righteous and our filthy lives are cleansed and become sanctified to receive the Holy Spirit. By the blood of Jesus Christ our diseases in heart and life are healed. By the redemption of Jesus Christ, our poverty and curses are redeemed. The grace of His death, and resurrection, can be shared with us so we can be resurrected and live eternally; this is the prosperity of our soul.

The Bible says, ¡°as your soul is getting along well and all may go well with you.¡±
In order for all things to go well, we must be free from fundamental curses.

Galatians 3:13 says, ¡°Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."


When Jesus was ministering in this world, He fed the poor and the hungry.
He not only cared for our soul salvation, but also had deep interest in bread-and-butter problems. Next year our church will celebrate the 60th anniversary.
When I first pioneered the tent church, our congregation was all poor and "naked" and hungry. The most desperate thing in their life were warm meals and medicine. That was what they really wanted. At that time I preached the message of spiritual, material and physical prosperity in 3 John 2 because I firmly believed that Jesus already liberated us from curses; It is the gospel. I believed that the Lord¡¯s promise could change our destiny so I desperately preached the gospel.


Galatians 5:24 says, ¡°Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires.¡±

When we crucified our sinful nature with its passions and desires, we took the Lord as the most precious Lord and committed our lives to Him; Then our lives began to prosper. There is no limit in human greed. No matter how many things we many have, we will never be satisfied with them. However, when we believe in Jesus. we can be content in whatever situation we may be in. Apostle Paul confessed as follows, ¡°I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength.¡±(Philippians 4:11-13)

He confessed his own life. Likewise, we believers can get enough power and strength to be satisfied in life in whatever situation. Furthermore, God fills the need of those who are thirsty.

Psalm 107:9 says, ¡°for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.¡±

Therefore, how happy we believers are! Those who do not know God have to be depressed, insecure, and suffer from worries and anxiety in life while the Lord allows us believers peace and satisfaction in our hearts in whatever circumstances. There are many times we can¡¯t get rid of a grudge and sorrow but have to suffer from them. However, Jesus enters into our hearts and provides power and strength to overcome them all. Therefore, ¡°Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances.¡± Why does God say, ¡°pray continually¡±? It is because we have to go through worries, anxiety, restlessness, irritation, and despair all the time so we must pray without ceasing. Sometimes we take our time to pray, but it can¡¯t go on like that in our daily lives. Instead, we should always pray to God to solve all kinds of despair, frustration, curses, and sorrow which come to us each moment. Rejoice always, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances. It is because we can appreciate good things as they are, but also give thanks to God even for bad things as we Christians believe, ¡°And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.¡±(Romans 8:28)

We must also follow the principle of sowing and reaping.

Galatians 6:7 says, ¡°Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.¡±

We must know that tithe is one of the principles of ¡°sowing and reaping.¡± Our thoughts and spoken words must be kept carefully.

Proverbs 18:20 says, ¡°From the fruit of his mouth a man's stomach is filled; with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied.¡±

If we keep speaking negatively as follows, ¡°I can¡¯t live on like this. It can¡¯t be done. It is impossible. I am distressed,¡± it won¡¯t be confined within words, but it will make our future and destiny. If we say, ¡°I can make it. It will be done. Let us do it now! I feel good. I can succeed. I will win!¡± God will help us to get that kind of positive situation and destiny.

Numbers 14:28 says, ¡°So tell them, 'As surely as I live, declares the LORD, I will do to you the very things I heard you say.¡±

Our God is listening to what we are saying and will do to us the very things He heard us say. Therefore, we should be very careful in what we say.

The Bible says, ¡°as your soul is getting along well and all may go well with you. And next I pray that you may enjoy good health.¡±

Acts 10:38 says, ¡°How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.¡±

If God is with us, He heals every disease. He takes pity on those who suffer from all kinds of diseases. The devil is working behind diseases and makes us to be sick and ill.

Matthew 8:16 says, ¡°When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were
brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.¡±

Jesus cast out the devil and healed all the sick with His word! Why did demons fear Jesus the most? As they come to harass the Lord¡¯s ministry, if we resist them, they will be dissolved like a candle blown out in the wind. Their beings will be melted. Therefore, they can¡¯t stand at all! All of them are gone! When you cast out the demons in the name of the Lord, they can¡¯t attack you! It is because as we rebuke them in the name of Jesus and by the power of His blood, they all are dissolved! Even though the Bible does not record it, but I saw demons come at me to scratch my face with their nails with my own eyes in my prayer. When I command in the name of Jesus, they became dissolved in front of my eyes. Before that I used to think that to resist the devil and demons would be too hard and difficult, but after that experience I have never feared demons at all. When the devil comes to rob, kill, and destroy us, we can rebuke in the name of Jesus and by the power of His blood and resist him. Then the devil, like a candle goes out due to the wind, will be melted so he immediately flees away from us in seven ways. There are so many instances where the devil works behind all the negative works and soul harassing works and painful physical hardships. Therefore, Jesus commanded us to cast out the devil. The devil works behind every disease so we must drive him out!


Matthew 8:16 says, ¡°When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were
brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.¡±

As Jesus cast out demons first and then healed the sick; when we cast out demons which work behind diseases, they will flee from us and diseases are healed.

James 4:7 says, ¡°Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.¡±

Then the devil will flee from us. Jesus spent almost all of His public ministry on healing the sick. Furthermore, He wanted His disciples to heal the sick, too. When He called His disciples, ¡°He appointed twelve--designating them apostles--that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons.¡±(Mark 3:14-15)
The Lord kept ordering His disciples to drive out demons. He gave the power and authority to cast out demons to His disciples. Aren¡¯t you also the disciples of Jesus Christ? You all already have the power to cast out demons. When Jesus sent His 70 disciples, He said, "When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is set before you. Heal the sick who are there and tell them, 'The kingdom of God is near you.¡±(Luke 10:8-9) Jesus has never allowed demons and diseases! He has had a great concern for casting out demons and healing the sick. Before His ascension, He made a very bold declaration as follows, ¡°And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
18.they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."(Mark 16:17-18)
If you follow the Word of Jesus Christ in life, you must cast out demons. You should speak in tongues when you pray. As the Lord says, ¡°When you drink deadly poison, it will not hurt you at all,¡± you can overcome any poison in food. As He also says, ¡°They will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well,¡± we should not neglect to place our hands on sick people and to pray for them.
Holistic salvation is God¡¯s will so we must always dream the best healthy state and think of it and confess it with our mouths.
