Today I would like to share the grace of God under the title, “The Power of the Word.” God created the heavens and the earth with the Word. Genesis chapter 1 inspiringly shows us that God created the sky, the ground, and all living things with His Word. There is power in the words of human beings. Because human beings were created in God’s image and likeness, they can exercise authority of creation with words, following the will of God. Deacon Cho, Beongnam called my secretary and expressed his gratitude. He had an automobile accident and his back was broken. His doctor said, “There is a great hiatus in your broken back. Even if I would operate on you, there will be a great possibility of paraplegia.” Then he could not work to support his family. However, in our church’s Sunday worship service on the 28th of May, I proclaimed divine healing, saying, “Someone has back pain and he is healed right now!” He firmly believed that it was for him! And he sent a letter to me to intercede for his healing. He thought that I might not lay my hand on him and pray due to my busy schedule so he just asked me to pray for him in his letter. But I read his letter and sent for him through my secretary. He came to me on the 15th of June and I laid my hands on him to pray for his healing. Four days later, he received a medical checkup and found that his backbone was completely healed! His doctor shrugged his shoulders and asked him, “It can’t be done. Did you receive any other medical treatment from another hospital?” Even if it is impossible in the third dimension, there is nothing impossible to God. When we react with faith to the Word of God, even problems like mountains will crumble down immediately. Even now God is changing the universe with His Word. Hebrews 11:3 says, “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.” We do not support any form of materialism but stick to God-centeredness; God created everything and nothing was made without Him. “By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth.”(Psalm 33:6) Therefore, we must embrace God’s creative words in our hearts in our prayer. Even material blessings should be confessed with faith holding God’s promise. Philippians 4:19 says, “And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” The Lord provides everything for us to prosper spiritually, materially, and physically and to have life to the full. We must desperately seek God to provide our material needs while holding His promise. Mark 11:23 says, “"I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him.” When we believe in our hearts and confess it with our mouths, the Holy Spirit will do the work of creation. We must put the Word of God in the vessel of our thoughts. We must first put the Word of God in our thoughts and then pray accordingly. Psalm 119:97 says, “Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long.” Psalm 119:165 says, “Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.” We must fulfill our wishful dream with faith through the Word of God. If we put the Word of God in our hearts and pray with faith, our desire will come true. Philippians 2:13 says, “for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.” When we move forward with faith, we can either say, “Amen,” or “No way.” We can be positive or negative by faith to the Word of God. However, we should not be negative but positive with faith. John 4:46-47 says, “Once more he visited Cana in Galilee, where he had turned the water into wine. And there was a certain royal official whose son lay sick at Capernaum. When this man heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to him and begged him to come and heal his son, who was close to death.” John 4:50-51 says, “Jesus replied, ‘You may go. Your son will live.’ The man took Jesus at his word and departed. While he was still on the way, his servants met him with the news that his boy was living.” If the man had accepted his son’s death, the boy would have died, but he took Jesus at His Word and then departed, it was done according to his faith! Romans 10:17 says, “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word of Christ.” The Word is a vessel of the fourth dimension, which indicates the Holy Spirit. As the Holy Spirit is the fourth dimension, if we embrace Him through the word of God in our hearts and minds, we can work with the Spirit of God. The fourth dimension is a spiritual dimension so we can’t walk with Him materially. The Holy Spirit is spiritual so our inner spiritual being must recognize, welcome, invite and rely on Him and then we can walk together with Him. John 3:4-5 says, " ‘How can a man be born when he is old?’ Nicodemus asked. ‘Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.’ ” Those who belong to the physical and material dimension only, never enter the kingdom of God. They are totally ignorant of the spiritual world. Since the fall of Adam, all peoples’ spirits were dead, they are spiritually dead materialists. Nevertheless, when they accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, their dead spirits revive and enter the fourth dimensional spiritual world. Therefore, we should believe in Jesus and our dead spirits must revive so we can understand the work of the kingdom of heaven and accept it. John 3:6-7 says, “Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.' ” Our thoughts, dream, faith and mouth confession all belong to our spiritual dimension. We can work with the Holy Spirit through our thoughts, dream, faith and mouth confession. The Holy Spirit is the fourth dimensional Spirit. The fourth dimension in our hearts consists of the fourth dimensional thoughts, dream, faith and mouth confession. Therefore, through this fourth dimension in our hearts, the Holy Spirit works to create changes and miracles for us. In order to bring changes in the third dimensional world, nothing is possible without the Word of God. The Word of God can work with us in the fourth dimensional spirituality. What we think, dream, believe and speak can correspond with the Holy Spirit and bring about changes and creative works with Him. Matthew 17:20 says, “He replied, ‘Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.’" When we have this fourth dimensional spirituality in our hearts and move forward with the Holy Spirit, we can live a miraculous life of faith. Proverbs 18:20-21 says, “From the fruit of his mouth a man's stomach is filled; with the harvest from his lips he is satisfied. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” The harvest from one’s lips, which comes from the fourth dimensional spirituality, has enormous creative and renovative power in it. We should always admit and recognize with our mouth confession because what we think, dream, and believe can come true through our mouth confession as it is the switch to turn on the light, so to speak! Even if a whole house is equipped with electricity, if we do not flip the switch, we cannot enjoy the light in it. Likewise, unless we confess with our mouths what we think, dream, and believe, nothing will be changed. We should confess and proclaim what we believe with our mouths. No matter how much we think, what we think can get life through our mouth confession. Even if we dream a dream, we should confess it with our mouths. We must confess our faith with our mouths, too. When we confess and recognize with our mouths, it will bring a great change into our lives. Likewise, unless we confess what we think, dream and believe with our mouths, nothing happens! When we confess our faith with our mouths, the Holy Spirit works to bring wonderful changes in our lives. As we are created in God’s image and likeness, we can change our circumstances with spoken Words. All things in the universe are in the third dimension. Through thoughts, dreams, faith, and mouth confession, people who are born again after believing in Jesus can communicate with the Holy Spirit who is the fourth dimension. Therefore, unless we use our thoughts, dream, faith, and spoken words, we are unable to communicate with the Holy Spirit on this earth. Jesus said it clearly to Nicodemus. John 3:8 says, “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." Only those who are born of the Spirit can communicate with the fourth dimension. Genesis 1:1-2 shows the Holy Spirit who is the fourth dimension embracing the third dimensional world. Only things of the fourth dimension can embrace the third dimensional world. We who are born again with the Holy Spirit are the fourth dimension. We can embrace the third dimensional world through our inner beings that are spiritual beings. Our prayer can bring miracles to us. Changes and creation in life can take place through thoughts, dreams, faith, and mouth confession based on the Word of God. We should understand changes and creation through the Word of God. Charles H. Spurgeon said, “The promises of God are not given for us to just look at them, but to apply to our lives. Don’t treat them as antiques at the museum, but use them as the source of comfort.” Through our thoughts and dream and faith and mouth confession we can apply the word of God to our lives. Then it will give us changes and creation in our lives. We’d better say words of blessing to others. In the Old Testament, God commanded the priests to bless the Israelites with these words. Numbers 6:24-26 says, "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace." When the priest would bless the Israelites with these words, God promised to bless them. Numbers 6:27 says, “"So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them." Therefore, what the priests bless with their mouths are really important. Apostle Peter said that we are a royal priesthood. 1 Peter 2:9 says. “But you are a holy nation, a people belonging to God.” As we become a royal priesthood, when we bless others, God will give them mighty blessings. We can use this authority to bless our children. When parents of faith bless their children with the name of God, God’s blessings come upon them. Therefore, whenever parents have family worship at home, they must bless their children in the name of Jesus Christ. Then God will listen to it and bless their children accordingly. How precious and important it is! Our mouth confession can bring either curses or blessings to us. Thus we must use our words of blessings well that there should be miracles in our individual life, home, daily lives, children, and business work.
