Today I would like to share the grace of God under the title, ¡°I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life.¡± In this world, there are many people who say that only their claims are right. So various conflicts arise and many people are boasting about their own so called truths to shake the lives of others into confusion. People claim that there are many ways in the world, but only Jesus is the way of life. There is no one like our Lord Jesus who is the way and the truth and the life in the past, present, and future. Only Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

First, we must understand that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life!

John 14:6 says, ¡°Jesus answered, ¡®I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.¡¯¡±

Jesus is the way, not a witness to the way. Jesus Himself is the way. He does not show us the way to go, but He is the way for us. Therefore, when we believe in Jesus, we find the eternal way.

John 1:1-3 says, ¡°In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.¡±

The Lord was said to express Himself as the word among people, but it is not true. Jesus is the word Himself. Jesus is the word and the creator. We don¡¯t need to wander to find the word. When we meet Jesus, we find the word. Jesus Himself is the truth. He is not a witness to the truth, but truth Himself. He is not a teacher to teach the truth, but the truth Himself.

John 5:33 says, "You have sent to John and he has testified to the truth.¡±

John the Baptist was a witness so he wasn¡¯t the truth, but he knew the truth and testified to it. Jesus didn¡¯t testify to the truth, but He is the truth.

John 15:26 says, ¡°"When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.

The Spirit of truth would come to show Jesus. Jesus is also the life. When we accept Jesus, He plants life in us so the water of life will overflow from it. Jesus Himself is the life and the water of life so whosoever accepts Jesus will invite the water of life into him.

1 John 1:1-2 says, ¡°That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched--this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.¡±

Jesus¡¯ disciples saw, heard, and touched the life itself.

Romans 8:11 says, ¡°And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.¡±

Jesus Himself is the resurrection and the life. Whosoever believes in Jesus, the resurrection and the life, will enjoy the resurrection and the life together with Jesus. Therefore, even if he dies, he will come to life again. Therefore, when we believe in Jesus Christ, we can find the way. We find the true way to live in this world. Importantly, we find the way in which we understand the answers to where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going. In Jesus we are not lost in life nor wander anymore, but live a perfect life. As we have the way and the truth and the life in Jesus, we are not ordinary people anymore.

Then Jesus is also our righteousness, peace, and joy. Righteousness is shown in
Romans 3:22-24, ¡°This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.¡±

Righteous people are those who never sin at all. However, there is no one righteous, not even one. There is no one who never sinned at all. God gives us righteousness as a gift. A gift is freely given to us by God without any charge.

Romans 4:6-8 says, ¡°David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the man to whom God credits righteousness apart from works: ¡®Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.¡¯"

As we are all forgiven and receive righteousness by the grace of Jesus, we are hugely blessed. Our repented sins are not recognized before God. As Jesus took them away on the cross, our sins disappear forever. Our sins won¡¯t be recognized. By faith in Jesus our sins are gone. We are recognized as one who never sinned at all. Therefore, when we believe in Jesus, we receive righteousness; we can go to heaven as a citizen of heaven and sit beside God the Father. You are all justified by faith and blessed. There is no one righteous, not even one. But by faith in Jesus, we become righteous. God won¡¯t be angry with us because our sins are gone! They are gone forever due to Jesus Christ. We already become those who never sin at all. We can stand before God without shame.

Furthermore, the Lord gives us peace as a gift. Everybody wants peace of mind. However, no matter how many worldly things we have, we can¡¯t have peace of mind automatically. Those who have enormous wealth live with much anxiety. It is because they always worry about losing all their precious wealth. The higher their status becomes, the more anxiety they have. It is because they fear they will be demoted at anytime. No matter how many things they enjoy, human power and strength cannot give us true peace of mind. It is Jesus who can give us true peace of mind. We won¡¯t be gone after death, but we change our robes after death.
As we will be clothed with the righteous robe of Jesus Christ and enjoy indescribable peace and joy. It will be our heavenly gift. Therefore, while we are living on this earth, we prepare to be ready for the heavenly eternal life. We don¡¯t need to fear death anymore.

Jesus said in John 14:27, ¡°Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

It is not our peace, but Jesus¡¯ peace that is given to us. When we taste a little bit of it, it is absolutely breathtaking. ¡°Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.¡±

Jesus¡¯ peace is quite different from worldly peace. I strongly desire that God lets you experience His peace even for a minute right here. It is beyond human description. Jesus has given us that true peace. Jesus calmed down the roaring sea of Galilee with His one word and this shows how great Christ¡¯s peace is!

Mark 4:39 says, ¡°He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

Philippians 4:6-7 says, ¡°Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The Lord has this mighty peace so if we seek His peace, He will give it to our hearts. The Lord¡¯s peace is so precious and wonderful. Next, there is joy. Jesus gives us His joy.

Psalm 16:11 says, ¡°You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

There is always overflowing joy before the Lord and eternal pleasures at His right hand. God wants us to rejoice!

Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:4, ¡°Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! God desires for us to live with joy. Nevertheless, the devil plants complaints and murmuring in our hearts not to enjoy divine joy. If we complain and murmur against God, He will take His joy away from us. Adam and Eve once had that joy while living together with God in the Garden of Eden, but they lost it through their complaint and murmuring. The devil came to Eve and said, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"
The woman said to the serpent, "You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die." She began to complain.
Then the devil promptly said to her, "You will not surely die, for God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." He put this complaint in her heart. Adam and Eve followed the complaint and murmuring the devil gave and were judged due to it and then cast out of the Garden of Eden and died afterwards. These complaints and murmuring cause pain not only to the person concerned but also others with him and rather please the devil only. In the Bible, Paul held up the Israelites in the wilderness as an example.

1 Corinthians 10:10 says, ¡°And do not grumble, as some of them did--and were killed by the destroying angel.¡±

The devil gives us complaining and murmuring hearts to lead us to destruction. Therefore, the Lord is waiting to give us righteousness, peace, and joy. The way, the truth, and the life are already given to us. God is waiting to give us righteousness, peace and joy. As we become righteous by receiving the righteousness of Jesus through faith, the Lord is waiting to give us His peace and joy.

Thirdly, faith, hope, and love are gifts from God for us.

Hebrews 11:6 says, ¡°And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.¡±

This faith is such a precious gift from God! Who gives us faith? It is God who permits us this gift. Those who live without any expectation have no faith at all. If we pray with a dream, God gives us faith. Even if we have a dream and faith as small as a mustard seed, we can move mountains. Therefore, we must pray with a dream in our hearts so we can have faith. When you pray with a dream in your heart, you will have faith in your heart. With that faith, if you pray, God will answer your prayer. Therefore, dream and faith and mouth confession are necessary ingredients in your life. If you have desire in your heart, imagine and dream about it in your heart and pray with it; you will be given faith that can possess that dream. If you confess it with your mouth by faith, God¡¯s answer will come to you. ¡°Without faith it is impossible to please God.¡± If you have faith and pray accordingly, God will answer you. We believers should have hope and our hope is our dream itself. When we hope, we will dream; when we dream we will be hopeful. The Lord distributes us faith, hope, and love, which are indispensible to our life. Human love can¡¯t satisfy our hearts and minds, but agape love from the Lord is genuine because He already sacrificed His own life on the cross on behalf of us.

Ephesians 5:2 says, ¡°and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.¡±

Agape love means the love that sacrifices, even one¡¯s life. Our Lord gave up His life for us. Phileo love means human love so Peter loved Jesus with this love, but he denied Him three times when it caused him much damage. When we accept Jesus as our Savior and run into His bosom, He will love us laying down His own life. Jesus who is the way will enter into your life saying, ¡°Today I am your way!¡±
Jesus will say to you again, ¡°I am the truth. If you are in Me, you won¡¯t be deceived.¡± The Lord will say to you, ¡°I am your life. I become your eternal life in you.¡± Since the Lord is the way, the truth, and the life, He also gives us righteousness, peace, and joy. By faith in Jesus, righteousness is ours, peace is ours, and joy is ours, too. Then the Lord also says, ¡°Faith, hope, and love are also yours. You can live a successful life in the world only with these three things.¡±

God has given us righteousness, peace, joy, faith, hope, and love through Jesus who is the way and the truth and the life. We must take a good care of these seeds given by God. If we move forward by relying on the power of the Holy Spirit, our life will bear abundant fruit.
