Today I would like to share the grace of God under the title, ¡°The Exploration Report of the 10 Versus the Report of the 2.¡±

In summer, people love to wear sunglasses and the whole world looks different according to the kind of sunglasses you wear. It may look yellow, red or brown depending on your sunglasses. So, our interpretations will differ depending on what kind of glasses we wear and look through. If we look at things with human eyes, we will say, ¡°It is impossible. It can¡¯t be done.¡± Yet, if we look at things through God¡¯s eyes, we will see hope, saying, ¡°I can make it. It will be done. Let¡¯s do it!¡± What seems to be a situation of total despair from the human perspective can be seen as hopeful from God¡¯s perspective. Therefore, the glasses of God¡¯s Word should be our top priority. How can we see from God¡¯s perspective? God's perspective is clear when we read the Word of God. When we read it and meditate on it, we can understand God¡¯s thoughts. When we go to the optician¡¯s and wear a new pair of glasses, previously blurred images become much clearer than before. Likewise, when we see through the Word of God, even in the midst of desperate circumstances we can get dreams and hope.

Psalm 119:105 says, ¡°Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.¡±

Please repeat after me, ¡°Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.¡±

This is the reason we should be guided by the Word of God. His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light for our path so we won't fall over in darkness, but see ahead and move forward. Today¡¯s Scripture shows that after the Israelites left Egypt and approached the land of Canaan, Moses chose one leader from each tribe and sent twelve leaders to scout the land. The twelve spies explored the same space at the same time, but their reports were completely different. Even though they explored the same land at the same time, their reports were based on their perspectives. After the twelve spies explored the land of Canaan, they gave two kinds of reports. One was a report of exploration on God¡¯s side. Another one was a report of exploration on human¡¯s side.

Numbers 13:31-33 says, ¡°But the men who had gone up with him said, ¡®We can't attack those people; they are stronger than we are.¡¯ And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, ¡®The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size.
We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.¡¯"

They reported that the residents of the land were of great size. The descendants of Anak were presumed to be a height of three meters according to their report.
They may be twice as tall as me, Yonggi Cho. As they looked at them for a while, they themselves seemed like grasshoppers in their own eyes.

Numbers 14:1-4 says, ¡°That night all the people of the community raised their voices and wept aloud. All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, ¡®If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this desert!
Why is the LORD bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn't it be better for us to go back to Egypt?¡¯ And they said to each other, ¡®We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.¡¯"

After the Israelites heard the negative report from the ten spies, they were so discouraged that they said to each other, ¡°Let us expel Moses and Aaron and choose a new leader and go back to Egypt to become slaves.¡± Ten spies reported this preposterous report before God. However, two of the spies were quite different from them.

Numbers 14:6-8 says, ¡°Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes and said to the entire Israelite assembly, "The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good.
If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us.¡±

They reported quite differently from the other ten spies. Even though they explored at the same place and time, they reported a wholly different report because they saw things relying on God. As they thought, ¡°We are on God¡¯s side. We will attack this land with God,¡± everything looked satisfying to them. They could even say about three meter giants that, ¡°We can swallow them. Their height can¡¯t be a threat. As God will throw them as preys, we can swallow them easily. Even though their cities are fortified and very large, everything will be okay as God guides us.¡± In this way, two of them reported a very satisfying report to the Israelites.

"The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us.¡±

As they looked at it positively, they could boldly proclaim, ¡°We can do it. It will be done! Let us do it now!¡±

We must consider deeply which glasses we should wear in our life. If we are deceived into wearing human glasses by the devil, our perspective would become the devil¡¯s perspective.

Numbers 14:11 says, ¡°The LORD said to Moses, "How long will these people treat me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in me, in spite of all the miraculous signs I have performed among them?¡±

Even though they had seen all the miraculous signs of God, they still refused to believe in God.

Numbers 14:32-33 says, ¡°But you--your bodies will fall in this desert. Your children will be shepherds here for forty years, suffering for your unfaithfulness, until the last of your bodies lies in the desert.¡±

As they had not relied on God but always complained and spoke negatively against God, He became so enraged that He made them wander for forty years in the wilderness until the last of them died there and only their children could be ready to enter the promised land. We should wear the glasses of the Word of God.
In order to be guided by the Holy Spirit and to meet Jesus Christ, our attitude should be clear and definite. Joshua and Caleb said, ¡°If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will swallow them up. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them."(Numbers 14:8-9)

If we fear people, we will be defeated by them. How can we be free from fear? If we believe in God, fear will flee from us. If we believe in God and rely on Him without fear, we can walk with Him to the end.

¡°Of the men who went to explore the land, only Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh survived.¡±(Numbers 14:38)

God deserted those who trembled with fear, but let those who had faith survive to the end. So we must think carefully whether we take humanistic glasses or the glasses of the cross. If we speak with human reason, scientific thinking, and human philosophy, we can¡¯t walk with God.

Psalm 10:4 says, ¡°In his pride the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.¡±

Unbelievers say that there is no God at all. If God does not exist, people have to be swayed by the devil. Therefore, we must wear the glasses of salvation through the cross of Jesus. The faithful love of Jesus Christ saves us through His crucifixion so we must wear the glasses of His love on the cross and see through them. It is the Fivefold Gospel and the Threefold Blessing and the spirituality of the Fourth Dimension.

Psalm 103:3-5 says, ¡°who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.¡±

When we come beneath the cross of Jesus Christ and look at the heaven, our circumstances will look different.

Above all, we must be aware of the power working behind everything. The devil secretly enters into us to manipulate us according to his evil scheme.

John 13:2 says, ¡°The evening meal was being served, and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot, son of Simon, to betray Jesus.¡±

When we fail to control our thoughts and leave them to the devil, those thoughts will preside over us. If we let the devil control our thoughts, we will be ruined!
Judas Iscariot let the devil lead his thoughts.

Ephesians 4:26-27 says, "In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.¡±

When we become angry and feel awful, if we remain in that state until the sun goes down, the devil will occupy us. Therefore, the Bible commands us not to be angry until the sun goes down. Before sunset we must take control of our hearts and minds.

1 John 3:8 says, ¡°He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.¡±

The devil enters into people¡¯s hearts and minds to make them sinners like him.
Rather we let the Holy Spirit enter into our hearts and minds instead of the devil.

¡°In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.¡±(Romans 8:26-27)
The Holy Spirit is the God of the Holy Trinity to be sent to help us. He is another Counselor to be sent by God to help us. As the Holy Spirit, another Counselor, is with us for twenty four hours to help us. So we must open our hearts and recognize, welcome, invite, and rely on Him, saying, ¡°Holy Spirit, please help me and hold me tight.¡± When we ask His help, He will intercede for us. Therefore, we can overcome the devil.

God answers according to our faith. The devil tempted Adam and Eve and made them rebel against God through negative thoughts. Even today, the devil tries to tempt us through negative thoughts. He gives us negative thoughts first. Therefore, our thoughts are so essential in our life. If our thoughts become God-centered, they will be lined up with God¡¯s thoughts like Joshua and Caleb. On the contrary, if we follow the devil¡¯s thoughts, we will end up being like him. While we live our lives here on earth, we must never forget that our thoughts lead us all the time. Our lives will differ depending on what our thoughts accept. We must think of the Fivefold Gospel given to us by the grace of the cross of Jesus. ¡°I have become a forgiven, righteous person through the blood of Jesus on the cross. I am washed away to become sanctified. By Jesus¡¯ stripes I am healed. By Jesus¡¯ crucifixion He delivered us from curses. By Jesus¡¯ death and resurrection Jesus¡¯ death becomes my death. Jesus¡¯ resurrection becomes my resurrection. Jesus¡¯ ascension becomes my ascension and Jesus¡¯ heaven is my heaven.¡± Through Jesus we can have those thoughts and the Holy Spirit another Counselor will guide us through that power with those thoughts so we will become more than conquerors over the devil. We will cast out the devil and live a victorious life as a citizen of heaven here on earth. Even today you will live and walk with God in your lives.
