Today I would like to share the grace of God under the title, ¡°Jesus Who Is the Light of Life.¡± Jesus is the light of life. We know that when light begins to shine it will dissipate darkness and expose all hidden things in it. In the same way, Jesus is the light of life Who becomes life and blessings for us wherever He shines. In the world filled with darkness, Jesus came as the light and destroyed the power of sins and death by dying on the cross. Jesus gave the right to become children of God to those who receive Him and who believe in His name. Just as the darkness goes away when the light shines, if Jesus who is the light comes into our life, things in the dark disappear. Also, we can enjoy good health and all can go well with us, even as our souls are getting along well.

Jesus came to destroy the darkness in the world. He did not come to give us any religion or form of learning. He came among us in order to cast out the devil and restore us to life. The devil brings sins, transgressions, diseases, pain, curses, poverty, death, and destruction. These things enter into our life to steal and destroy it.

1 Peter 5:8 says, ¡°Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.¡±

John 10:10 says, ¡°The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.¡±

The devil tempts us to speak negative things in our hearts. ¡°You are finished. You will be ruined. You will become a failure. You are going to die. You will have a serious disease.¡±

The devil harasses us without cease when he tries to pull us down spiritually, mentally, physically, or materially as if someone keeps pulling one down from a tree. You should keep reminding yourself that Jesus is the true Light of the world.
Light casts away darkness so it will appear as the Light of life in our hearts.
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil.

John 12:46 says, ¡°I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.¡±

Darkness is brought about by the devil to destroy us. However, Jesus came to cast out all those destructive works of the devil and to give us life instead.

Colossians 2:15 says, ¡°And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.¡±
Through the suffering of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, the Lord conquered all those powers and authorities. Through the cross the Lord gives us the Fivefold Gospel and the Threefold Blessing, which any powers or authorities of the world cannot give us.

1 John 3:8 says, ¡°He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.¡±

St. John Chrysostom, one of the greatest Early Church Fathers, explained concerning the suffering on the cross as follows, ¡°The Lord suffered from head to toes. It is because He wanted to wash away all the sins in our whole body.¡± Jesus suffered indescribable pain on the cross to forgive our sins and to give the precious gift of forgiveness and righteousness to us instead. We Christians are now fighting an already won battle many times over. Jesus troubled himself to awakening us to this truth, but we turn a deaf ear to Him. The Lord says to us, ¡°You know what? I already fought and suffered greatly for you. I said, ¡°It is finished.¡±
Then what more are you trying to accomplish?¡±
¡°Lord, is it true? I don¡¯t know anything about it.¡± After a little while we are doing the same foolish thing again.
Whether you are involved in material things, in farming or in business you should always remind yourself as follows, ¡°You already have the blessing of Abraham. As you receive it from God, you are blessed in whatever you do. Therefore, you must keep confessing that you are a blessed person.¡±

When you say, ¡°I will be blessed when I come in and I will be blessed when I go out,¡± your word will bring all those blessings to you. However, we rarely bless ourselves, but rather say, ¡°I am a cursed person. I am a victim. I don¡¯t have any blessing.¡± We tend to confess these things absent mindedly. Therefore, we have great pain and suffering in our lives.

Jesus destroyed the devil¡¯s work on the cross of Calvary and gave life to us.

Colossians 1:13-14 says, ¡°For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.¡±

The power of darkness comes to throw us into the painful world that steals, kills, and destroys us. However, God the Father delivers us from that power of darkness through Jesus. You may complain that God doesn¡¯t do it for you, but now God keeps saying through the Holy Spirit, ¡°My sons, my daughters, please feel and enjoy peace of mind and smile! It is finished! My deliverance is far greater than you think it is. Be bold and courageous!¡±

We are all strangers on the path of our life and we live life only once. Therefore, most of us are struggling whether to turn right or to turn left not knowing where to go.
However, when the Lord, the light of the world, comes to us, He will guide us to where we go so we don¡¯t need to fear.

Psalm 119:105 says, ¡° Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.¡±

When we study the Bible and meditate on it, the Word of God will be a lamp to our feet and a light for our paths. When we follow Jesus who is the Word of truth, He will guide us into the path of forgiveness of sins, blessings, and eternal life.
We must keep in mind that we have already become children of God after believing in Jesus.

John 1:9-13 says, ¡°The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God.¡±

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son and through His Son He has made us a forgiven righteous person. Now we have become sanctified, without any sin left, and righteous before God. Now we are all righteous in Jesus.
Righteousness means total innocence without any sin at all. God also washes away your sins by the blood of Jesus and makes you holy and filled with the Holy Spirit.
Without the fullness of the Holy Spirit we cannot discern the kingdom of God. However, when the Holy Spirit comes, He will live with us according to the truth of the kingdom of God. Furthermore, God gives us healing and health. While we are suffering from various diseases, Jesus keeps reminding us that by His stripes we are healed, but we do not enjoy its fruit. Blessings and prosperity are also the same to us. The Lord removed thorns and thistles and gave us the blessings of Abraham. We should enjoy all of them. Now you are prosperous! You are able to enjoy forgiveness, righteousness, holiness, the fullness of the Holy Spirit, healing, health, blessings, prosperity, resurrection and eternal heaven because Jesus Christ paid the price for all of them already. No one can take them away from you.
Jesus died and was resurrected from the dead and lights the way that we go.

John 8:12 says, ¡°When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

The Lord says, ¡°Whoever follows Me will never fall in darkness, but will have the light of life.¡± Light means that there will be no darkness and that we will enjoy grace and the blessings of God abundantly. As we can go straight even on a dark road due to a bright light, Jesus shines His bright light in front of us to lead us on our path when we walk in this dark world. Jesus has already made our whole life plan so He shines His light to lead us into our path.

When we follow and obey the Word of God, Jesus gives us His blessings. Everyone wants to live a life without regrets. However, our life itself is uncertain and we are unable to be secure concerning anything about tomorrow.

Proverbs 14:12 says, ¡°There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.¡±

What seems to be a right path from the human perspective later turns out to be a fatal path to death. We can¡¯t be careful enough in our way. Then how can we live a life without any regrets? It is possible when we follow the Word of God in our life.

Psalm 119:165 says, ¡°Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.¡±

Those who reside in Jesus should follow the Word of God.

Psalm 119:105 says, ¡°Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.¡±

The Word of God is a lamp to our feet and a light for our paths.

¡°For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth).¡±
(Ephesians 5:8-9)

God wants us to live a righteous life through the light of the world. Jesus¡¯ light shines the paths that we need to take during our lifetime. Those who accept Jesus the light of the world into their hearts do not reside in darkness but act in light.
When Jesus was crucified on the cross while being torn in flesh and shedding His blood, He was cursed in our place. As we were cursed in Adam, Jesus settled all those curses for us. Where there is the name of Jesus, there will be blessings of God. We should be different after believing in Jesus. Jesus sacrificed His life for us and blessed us spiritually, materially, and physically and made us to do good deeds in Jesus¡¯ name. When we do many good deeds spiritually and materially in our life, the Lord will be very pleased with us and feel it was worth creating us. You should not step backward. ¡°But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him." We can¡¯t shrink back because God created us to move forward with faith. Therefore, we must keep moving forward without shrinking back.

The life that stays in light enjoys faith, hope, righteousness, peace, joy, and happiness while loving one another. Furthermore, with the great fellowship with the Holy Spirit, we can live a life with faith by having dreams and hope. We must give thanks and praises to God who allows this wonderful life to us through the cross of Jesus all the time. The Word of God is life. When we read the Word of God our hearts will be strengthened greatly. In Ezekiel, God set Ezekiel in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. When he prophesied, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone, and tendons and flesh appeared on them; they came to life and stood up on their feet--a vast army. The Word of God has the power of life. The Word of God which you always read, listen to, and pray according to, is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. You know, when you cherish many promises of God in your heart and rely on them, you have the power of life within you. Jesus died on the cross while being torn in flesh and shedding His blood to give us this great blessing which forgives our sins and unrighteousness, settles our diseases, casts out curses, and conquers death.
When you have this blessing in your heart, you can live without any fear. You will move from darkness to light. In this New Year we can invite Jesus Christ into our life and become a new person and live together sharing good things among us without fear and without stepping back. Who are you? ¡°I am saved through the cross of Jesus Christ.¡± What kind of salvation do you receive? ¡°I am forgiven my sins and transgressions. I am healed from disease. I am delivered from curses and poverty. I have eternal life and blessings and am delivered from death and hell. I have spiritual, material, and physical prosperity and have the life to the full. I have positive thinking with the Holy Spirit and dream a dream with Him. Where there is no vision, the people perish. But I have a dream. I have faith and declare creatively saying things that are not as though they were. I pray that you live a positive and active life with this change of heart throughout the New Year!
